Marianne writes fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction with a metamodern feel. Through writing and photography she explores themes of spiritual striving, ecological anxiety, violence, the absurd, and the power of the natural world. She has an M Div from Harvard Divinity School and studied literature at Sarah Lawrence College and Oxford. Happily, she is not without a sense of humour.

Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Channel Magazine, The Manchester Review, Swerve, Strange Pilgrims, The Honest Ulsterman, Ragaire, Theopneustos, The Belfast Review, and other outlets. She is @mdaigh on substack and @mdaighwait on insta. Current projects include a novel on love in extreme climates and a prose-poetry collection.
